Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek is an American actress. She is known for portraying Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 film White Chicks Danielle Brooks in the USA Network television series Covert Affairs Dr. Amber Volakis on the Fox series House Lura Grant on the HBO series Big Love and Francine Hanson on the AMC series Mad Men. Anne Dudek is an American actress who is best known for her role as Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 comedy movie White Chicks. She is also popular for her television roles as the character Dr. Amber Volakis in Fox's sitcom House Danielle Brookson in USA Network's drama Covert Affairs and Lura Grant in HBO's drama Big Love. Dudek grew up in Massachusetts and was a student at Northwestern University. Her first acting role was as a character in The Iphigenia Cycle, a production at the university. In New York City, the production was taken off-Broadway where Dudek won the Joseph E. calloway award and American Theater Magazine profiled her as a promising young actress to follow. Dudek was eventually offered parts on TV and the big screen. Matthew Heller, the talented actress, mother of two behind the camera was her husband for a period of time from 2008 to 2016 Dudek is from Boston Massachusetts native born on March 22nd 1975, but raised in Newton. In her early years, she attended Northwestern University. She appeared in a variety of theater shows and made her Broadway debut with Wrong Mountain. In 2000, her role in the role of The Glass Menagerie won her the Connecticut Critics Circle Award. She then appeared on television first starring in The Book Group, a British comedy drama The Book Group. Since then, she has guest-starred on several programs, such as Desperate Houswives, Charmed bones Numb3rs and Six Feet Under How I Met Your Mother. The pilot episode of Psych the actress appeared as Lucinda and on Law & Order Criminal Intent she played a teacher with a relationship with a student. Dudek landed her first recurring part in House, portraying Amber Volakis. Her character was among the forty doctors that Dr. Gregory House considered for permanent roles on his team. The character Amber Volakis continued to be featured throughout the entire series until it was finally killed off at the end in House's Heart. House was later to see her as a deformed character in the five-season episode Saviors. Dudek was later seen on Mad Men as next-door neighbor Francine Hanson and on Big Love as one of Alby Grant's antagonistic wives both with frequently appearing characters. Dudek was cast in Covert Affairs as Danielle Brooks who is the sibling of the main character. Dudek was also in other movies, playing Tiffany Wilson the cruise line heir Tiffany Wilson's in 2004's comedy White Chicks.
